When life gets tough, start crafting!
Good morning my crafty friends! This morning I would like to share with you a card I made for the Splitcoast Stampers Ways to use it challenge (WT774). The challenge was to make a shaker card. Now I will be honest and say that I am not very good at these cards. There is a lot of practice to be done on making these cards right, as they do have several steps necessary to complete. But as they say, practice makes perfect, right! I’d like to hear what cards or paper crafting projects you may struggle with. What cards or paper crafting projects are you good at? Let me know in the comments. Good morning my crafty friends! Today I would like to share with you a card I made for the May Tiddlyinks Monthly Challenge. The challenge: use dots. Here is the creation I made. This cute image of Wyrn Geek Chick was colored using a water pen and Distress Ink. The dots on her shirt and shoes were added by me. The background Image is done with a Close to My Heart For You Darling stamp and die cut set. I added the dot embellishments to also go along with the challenge.
Good Morning! Today I am sharing with you a card I made for the CC Designs Facebook Challenge. The challenge was to use the image to make anything you want. I decided to make a picture to put in either a frame or my art journal. Also, I'm in love with these colors, the pink and yellow. I was inspired by pink lemonade for this challenge. Ink: Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Bundled Sage, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, and Peacock Feathers & Archival Ink (Jet Black) Embossing Folders: The Paper Studio (Intricate Swirl, Anchors) Dimensional tape Sentiment Stamp: Card Captions (Close to my Heart Stamp of the Month) Good evening! Today I would like to share with you a card I created for the CC Designs April Challenge. The theme of the challenge was "make a birthday card." I used one of my favorite retired images, "Big Sister & Little Brother." These two remind me so much of my own kids! I used my alcohol markers to color the image as well as the embellishments I cut from Cricut Design Studio. The "Cake Day" sentiment, also cut from Cricut Design Studio is written on with a gold glitter pen. I cannot remember where my paper came from, as it was given to me by a friend at the last scrapbook retreat I attended. The card design was my own. I hope you have enjoyed today's card.
